The MS Reader is compatible with Windows operating systems including XP and handheld readers with Windows CE operating systems, as well as other operating systems

The only way for you to know if your computer is compatible with this reader is to download it to your computer and then test it with our system.

You are advised to use Windows Internet Explorer when accessing the Pink Flamingo site and ordering books. Other browsers may not be compatible with the MS Reader.

Here's how to Download, Test and Use the Microsoft Reader on your computer:

1) Download the reader from the Microsoft site: Click Here

2) Once you’ve installed the reader on your computer, download our test stories FREE STORIES

3) If our FREE TEST stories appear in your reader, you’re ready to buy. Browse our catalog and add your selections to your shopping cart. 

4) Once you buy, you will DOWNLOAD your books from the PINK FLAMINGO SHOPPING CART (there will be NO Download Code)
Return to the Shopping Cart once your order is complete, and your book download will be waiting for you

Trouble with Microsoft Ebook download
You should have received a message on the Thank You page to "click here" to download your ebooks.

Also, when you return to the site and click on "Shopping cart" you should
have a message: "You have Ebooks waiting to be downloaded".

Be sure to click on "Open" every time you are asked in the download box.

When downloading MSEbooks be sure you have enough disk space on your Hard disk drive. Not enough space can create a problem on the "Open" command, as it downloads to the temp directory on your C drive. The books will then install in the reader. So, you need enough space on the C drive to hold both copies of the Ebook.

For the download, you may need to disable your firewall or reduce Security settings on your computer.

Do NOT use the MSN Butterfly

Do NOT use a download manager

Internet Explorer Browser works well, as does the Netscape and Mozilla browers.

Sometimes, for some reason unknown to us, 
clicking on "Open" does not work.
If you don't get your books, then we will need to re-enable your download
and you will need to click on "Save" instead of "Open" and save the books
in C:\My Documents\My Library. When you open the reader, your book(s) should be there.
