Dear Lizbeth, I can imagine that you are a very busy person, as most of us are, but I just had to tell you how much I truly enjoy your spanking fiction stories... Of course other readers of your spanking fiction have to be praising the stories but I just couldn't go without actually e-mailing you! I am so pleasantly surprised and delighted to have found your website and ordered all eighteen of the spanking novels and six of the short spanking stories. I just became "hooked" and wanted more. Your fiction is very substantial and "juicy". The spanking stories all have many multiple discipline scenes in them but also very well orchestrated plots, themes and characters. I have never had the opportunity to find a more fascinating, stimulating collection devoted to my favorite subject of all time. I have never had the chance to communicate with a more seemingly devoted spanking aficionado. Most people do not understand the psychology of spanking at all. I know that there are many different types of spankings and scenarios, but my favorite ones are punishment and disciplinary in nature. There must be an actual wrongdoing or transgression on the part of the spankee, or it just doesn't seem as interesting or memorable. For me, the spanker must also be genuinely angry and have a disciplinarian attitude. But there must also be a genuine love, care and respect between the two individuals.

I've finished Bound For Submission and have been thinking about it ever since. It is no small thing to comment on your books because they are never just straightforward porn. You are always trying to push back the envelope … This book is most interesting to me because to my perception it gives the clearest insight into the world and mind of the submissive - including the ambivalence and contradictions of that position (wanting affection as well as punishment, wanting faithfulness as well as promiscuity). I loved the sense of the isolated existence by the seaside, responded to that very strongly as it was like my own existence sometimes and incidents from my childhood. Anything autobiographical in this?

Lizbeth’s note: All of my novels contain a little piece of me, sometimes whole scenes are prompted by a personal and sexual experience. And often, the internal dialogue of my female characters reflect my personal thoughts, quandaries, confusion, dreams and satisfactions regarding the fantasies and real life experience I put into my novels. Many times, I don’t realize until after I’ve written a scene how much this scene or character reflects my present life.

Ken, Wanted to let you know I enjoyed talking to you the other day when I placed my order. Wanted you to know how much I enjoyed Master's of the Club, it had good characters and just that touch of romance I like; of course it had all the other elements I like too. ha! ha! … Also enjoyed the Dannielle Durbin novella A Firm Decision. Reading Old Affairs & New Found Lovers, I like mysteries and you did a very fine job here! I’ve found in almost three years since I became aware that I wasn’t so abnormal as I had thought (i.e. discovery of the spanking world), that many, many story lines, videos and magazines have little depth and NO plot line to the stories! You write better than any I’ve read – this one in particular had good guys and bad … I’ve said to (my spanking partner) many times during the course of our friendship that it all seems so fake—the spanking world. But what is one to do?

What a treat to hear from someone I’ve admired for a long time. My list of recommended books is there mainly for newbies, and I thought Caroline’s Contract belonged in it. Besides being what I call a "wet spot" book, it very well illustrates something I often encounter in women—the battle between the lady and the slut. Even more importantly, I think it lets newbies know they’re not the only ones with those desires and conflicts, that it’s okay to explore these feelings. I read your book quite a long time ago, but I remember thinking that this wasn’t just some formula D/s pulp churned out in a week or two. Whoever had written it had, at the very least, experienced the feelings—if not lived similar events.

Dear Lizbeth: I’m done reading one of the books that you had recommended to me, Alexandra’s Dilemma. I must admit that you were right, I loved it! You are a very gifted writer, Lizbeth. Your prose is fluent, your characters seem real and are well-developed—unlike those of other erotica writers that I have read in the past. You even had an interesting and compelling story to tell, which did not appear to be a mere pretext to describe spanking scenes of various types. As for these, they did not appear "recycled", something which plagues the erotica authors I have read in the past. Every one of your spanking scenes brings something new, which was very rewarding to read. What I enjoyed most about your fiction, however, is the insight you obviously have into the psyche of a submissive female …. It was such a pleasure to read spanking fiction in which the "spankee" does not come across as a mere spanking object, deprived of any personality and capable of uttering only corny lines. Alexandra seems to be a real woman, not the figment of a male dominant’s imagination.

From Lizbeth: I am, at heart, a storyteller. I love creating characters, putting them into unique relationships and seeing what they do with the intimacy and sexual desires they nurture. I assume that both the men and the women in my stories have hearts, minds and emotions as well as cock and cunts. It’s always gratifying to receive comments like the ones above. And I always take to heart the suggestions my readers make that reflect their own turn-ons and passions, with the hope that I can continually say something new about eroticism and sexual relationships. Yet, no matter how important, inventive or even lofty I think a particular novel might be, the bottom line is, I write erotica to sexually stimulate and a create fantasy worlds my readers can dive into and enjoy.
