No Apologies by Lizbeth & Ken
Dusseau is a real person. That
sounds simple-minded on the face of it, but is, in fact, much more than
that. She is warm and funny and honest. She’s the girl next door, a wife, a
mother, a friend—and something else—a sexual submissive. In fact, she says
that she is submissive in many ways, and in the same breath says that she
has never felt powerless. It is an important distinction.
This little book is a wonder, at once intimate, knowledgeable, unflinching
and poignant. It is, on the one hand, a very personal account of a
blossoming spirit, and on the other, an inquiry into the very nature of how
we are made. Lizbeth Dusseau and her husband Ken perform a rational,
collaborative act here, defining a path less traveled without the faintest
hint of regret or apology. There are lessons here, for those poking at their
own innards, and it’s sexy as hell, no matter what you are poking at.
Knowing that she is out there somewhere,
a real, living breathing submissive—well, I don't know about you, but I
think that is the sexiest part of the whole thing. Think of her as a light
in the darkness, or a shout of purest joy in a quiet room. And trust me, you
will think of her. She is unforgettable. Read the book. You won't
regret it.
