The beautiful Gina Huxtable has it all: power, money, a successful business and an exquisite estate, Ashby Manor, in Northern England. She also has a staff of young girls who double as a harem of willing slaves, ready at her beck and call. However what Gina really wants still eludes her. Though she may be worshipped, what she craves most is to be truly loved. Among her many slaves is her favorite, the irresistible Chloe—an utter pervert with an eye for gaining her own power, wealth and harem of slaves. She’s sure to break her Mistress’s heart and Gina knows she’ll never have what she wants from her ambitious assistant.
When Gina acquires a new company, she and Chloe travel to London to meet with the staff and prepare for the takeover. Scheduled to be fired as the companies merge is Becky, a married woman who’s having a BSDM affair with her boss Mark. In their first meeting, Gina immediately becomes smitten with Becky, and sets out to seduce her, arranging their next meeting in the back of a limo. When Gina speaks candidly about her kinky lifestyle, she has the submissively inclined female practically salivating with desire. The evening ends with Becky shuddering on the floor with orgasm, and orders from Gina to appear at Ashby the following night.
Threatened by this budding relationship and realizing that her future plans may be in jeopardy, the conniving Chloe moves in to steal Becky’s affections. She intends to leave the interloper in a piss-drenched, bum-fucked heap—with the submissive Becky ready to become her first slave. If there is any hope of enticing Becky from the bewitching Chloe, Gina must take an enormous risk that could backfire. Even if Becky chooses Gina, there’s no guarantee that she won’t be just another wanting subbie who will enjoy the thrills her Mistress offers, but gives little in return.

I love the way this novel comes at you from different angles. It is sensual, even tender, yet the sex scenes are graphic and very rude, with a heavy emphasis on BDSM. The characters are all three dimensional and despite the conflicts between them you end up rooting for each and wanting to read their next excerpt (I liked "villainess" Chloe the best - selfish, sexually derranged and very dirty - a girl after my own heart). Even the two settings are polar opposites - the drudgery of a crumbling city life on one hand and the almost fantastical opulence and promise of the very English Ashby Manor on the other. Although billed as a "lesbian" novel it is as much to do with surrendering to a life of submission and the complexities of power struggles between dominant characters. It could just as easily come under the title "Femdom".
The end result is a novel that made me want to re-read certain passages over again(and, bizarrely for me, not just the sex scenes). It has undeniably hot and imaginative rude bits but there is a story as well, and one that draws you in, right to its very satisfactory conclusion. Deliciously filthy, just like me!
