Two months ago I received an email from a new friend that complimented me on my website as well as OUR WAY magazine. As you would expect I love to receive messages like that and after a short flurry of email my new friend, Ron told me that he had written a story. I'm always looking for new material and I encouraged him to tell me more about his story. I soon discovered that it was in print and would shortly be available. I pressed for a copy and received my book of Her Will Be Done last month but too late to be reviewed for the April issue. It also allowed me more time to read leisurely. Guess what, I loved it!

Ron Kozloff is a talented writer and has done a credible job of taking us through the life of Rhonda as Sissy Maid to her Mistress Darian Gray. Rhonda lives in her life with her Mistress being trained as a subservient subject to her and her very close friend, Faith, when she is disciplined in her transformation to femininity. It has been published by Pink Flamingo to be included in the large library of novels all pretty much bounded in the erotica of Female Domination with aspects of BDSM and humiliation. Rhonda is dressed beautifully throughout the novel from the sexy French maid uniform to the delightful schoolgirl outfit of matching prim white blouses, red and white striped ties and dark blue jumpers -- she is -- but the author's expertise better defines the activities that take place in Rhonda's training.

And these are very extensive and beautifully documented. Let me list some chapter headings so that you may have a glimpse into the training, discipline and humiliation that Darian with "Her Will Be Done" takes or puts Rhonda through.

Now that's a revealing statement - although I won't tell you my best favorite of them all. This gal has to keep a few secrets about her fantasies to herself. But I will tell you this, I now keep this lovely novel by my bedside to read if I wake at night and feel the need for a little stimulation to help put me back to sleep.

Author Ron Kozloff refers to his novel, Her Will Be Done as "an earthy feverish tale of contemporary femization and the sissy maid world," which sums up nicely what he attempts to pull off within its pages. Reading like a cross between The Story Of O and Ann Rice's pseudonymous Sleeping Beauty series, Her Will Be Done chronicles the transformation of a stodgy, nameless, middle-aged college professor into Rhonda, the sissy maid slut. But stopping with that short synopsis is a bit like calling Romeo & Juliet a teenage love story. There are delicately layered subtexts at work here and a fascinating glimpse into a world not often explored with such gleeful objectivity.

Deliciously genteel in its approach to the subject matter of domination and subjugation, Her Will Be Done is a throwback to the very Victorian tomes it serves to emulate, without all the flowery phrasing which passed, at the time, for innuendo. Which makes it not only a quick satisfying read, but a fascinating portrait of a contemporary subculture which is often marked by graphic severity and an insider's disdain for the uninitiated. Without coming across as either pedantic or self-righteous, Kozloff guides his reader through the various phases of his hero's ascent into insightful self-discovery and emotional release at the hands of a skilled and very sexy Mistress. No easy trick, when dealing with the subject of female subjugation over men.

But just because Her Will Be Done mines unfamiliar territory as a contemporary homage to Victorian smut, doesn't mean the sex is subliminalized. Not at all. Hot and definitely provocative in his depictions of sexual entanglement, Kozloff explores every angle of the female/male, mistress/slave dynamic, while never missing the opportunity to drench the reader with visual, aural and olfactory orgasmic juices. There is plenty of pleasuring going on within these pages, in not-so-stark contrast to the pain being subjected in equal degrees. All of which makes Her Will Be Done a rollicking read and a thoroughly entertaining romp through the Taboo Forest Freud refered to as the Id.
