The House of Blood by Wayne C Rogers

The writing of Wayne C. Rogers has been one of erotica’s best kept secrets for several years now. But, if there’s any justice in the world, with the publication of House of Blood all that should change. Rogers, a great admirer of horror film and fiction, has deftly blended those genres with extreme Femdom and produced a tale like no other.

Chris, a writer of bestselling horror novels and his wife Katherine purchase a mysterious house in Las Vegas and before the ink is dry on the deed the house begins to invade and alter their lives. Tendencies within Katherine to dominate Chris suddenly spring forth with feral intensity and Chris feeling helpless against her is quickly manipulated into a soul and ego crushing dependency.

The ghost of Mistress Anne, a profound sadist and serial killer, still haunts the house and her bloodlust triggers in Katherine a need to abuse, humiliate, and cuckold her husband. A protracted scene late in the novel, taking place in the backyard by the pool, is one of the most harrowing descriptions in all Femdom literature. Chris barely survives while Katherine gleefully fucks her boyfriend upstairs only coming down now and then but definitely not to check on his well-being.

Roger’s prose deftly captures the mainstream tone of bestselling pop fiction while transporting the reader into a nightmarish world reminiscent of Stephen King’s The Shining. Spectral mob figures and perverts from 1950’s Vegas crowd in on Chris and, as his suffering mounts in proportion to the gruesome body count the reader wonders if he’ll ever escape.

In one leap, Rogers has positioned himself as one of the most notable writers in the sub-genre of cuckolding. If that’s your kink this story has scenes that will haunt your dreams forever.

Can a house, an inanimate object, be possessed by an evil spirit? If you’re whipped by a ghost in the night, will the marks still show in the morning light? Unfortunately, Chris Hill, author of horror fiction learns first-hand the answers to these questions. The horrors he endures while a prisoner of The House are worse than his wildest imagination. He and his wife stumble on The House by accident while out house-hunting. Though The House is not a style she normally liked, Chris’s wife Katherine loves it more than he does and literally insists that they buy it – oddly, in her name only. Just one small clue of what lies ahead.

Katherine seems to change almost overnight; subtly at first, then more and more drastically as she gains greater control over her husband’s life. She traps him into wearing a chastity device. Next, he signs over all his possessions and the royalties to his books. Before he knows it, Chris is penniless and stranded helplessly at home while his wife is gone, sometimes for days at a time, while making arrangements to move into their new house. For Chris, things go downhill from there.

He soon finds himself openly cuckolded by the contractor Katherine has hired. Katherine, or Lady Katherine as she now demands to be called, even forces Chris to participate, orally preparing her lover for sex, and cleaning them both afterwards. All while Chris remains locked in his chastity belt, unable to experience any pleasure. What Katherine does to him, however, is not nearly as severe as what the spirit of Lady Ann, the former owner of The House, does once Chris and Katherine move in.

I enjoyed this book more than any I’ve read in quite some time. It has lots of humiliation, forced chastity, cuckolding, corporal punishment and imprisonment, even coerced fellatio. Poor Chris doesn’t consider himself a submissive or a masochist, yet he becomes the slave of both his wife Katherine, and the spirit of The House of Blood. Will he be able to escape before one of them kills him? It’s touch and go, right to the end. I found this not so much a horror story as a strong Femdom story that involved ghostly spirits. If you like serious Femdom, you’re sure to love this novel as much as I did.
